• Capacity-building of Local CSO’s to Advocate for the Rights of Slum Dwellers
After years of war, South Sudan’s urban planning system has not been transformed to reflect on the post-conflict socio-economic developmental needs of the new state. This project aims to improve the capacity of South Sudan civil society to advocate for the rights of slum dwellers and lobby local government on urban planning and service delivery.
• Support to Disabled Person’s Organisations
Justice Africa has been working with key actors from six disabled person’s organisations (DPOs) to assist them in building a national network in South Sudan. The purpose of this network is to bring together DPOs from all ten states of South Sudan to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities and their inclusion and full participation in society.
